TAGLINE: "A Best Friend Will Call You An Idiot But Will Act Like One With You"
SCRATCH is a fun-filled comedy about two down-on-their-luck idiots, struggling to make ends meet.
When the opportunity to travel with their girlfriends to a tropical resort comes along, the boys believe that “Lady Luck” will provide them with the money they need and lead them to the winning “Lotto Ticket” at a neighborhood convenience store.
After spending what little cash they had on a losing “Filthy Rich” lottery ticket, the two idiots concoct a plan to rob the convenience store and steal the winning lotto ticket but find themselves in a precarious situation with the winning ticket and no way to cash it.
They decide to contact Bob’s ex-boss, (a rather seedy character), to see if any of his connections can help cash the ticket. They work out an arrangement with the boss, and give him the winning ticket. Now, they believe their luck has finally changed. However, Bob over-hears a conversation his ex-boss is having while both of them are in the bathroom and he realizes they are in deeper than they thought.
The boys steal back the winning ticket which is vicariously, sitting in the ex-bosses open safe in his office. Bob’s ex-boss is fuming mad and goes on a hunting spree for the two idiots. The ex-boss ends up at Bob’s house and breaks in, unaware that the toxic waste in the basement is unstable.
Meanwhile, the boys head back to the convenience store… make a deal with the clerk and head off to meet the girls…
